Personal Training
Our aim is to make you resilient! Good quality movement is the antidote to our often sedentary life and majority of musculoskeletal injuries! That is why we call our in house gym Movement Antidote!
Personal training is an extremely important part of the Optimal Health Hub. We have a small but fully equiped gym that we use to rehabilitate, strengthen and condition our clients.
Many of our clients progress onto personal training after first seeing a clinician or manual therapist (Chiropractor, Physiotherapist, Massage therapist) for injury management.
“Manual Therapy Is The Bridge To Rehabilitation.”
Our personal trainers are highly skilled and trained at facilitating rehabilitation programs.
Four weeks exercising at home with bands is NOT rehabilitation. Many of our clients progress from basic post injury rehabilitation onto increasingly more challenging strength and conditioning exercises. Would you like to know how to prevent the injury in the first place?
The answer is: Get Strong!
We know you need to exercise! You know you have to exercise! So, why don’t you?
Breaking Barriers
Over the years we have found that lot of our clients are apprehensive about doing exercise or joining a gym. We have identified some common barriers to starting exercise in our clients and they are as follows:
- Have a preexisting injury and worry about getting worse. (We thoroughly asses and screen all of our Personal Training clients to make sure that the exercise plan is appropriate. Personal Training clients are eligible for FREE pre exercise screen with our experienced Sports Chiropractors. The exercise program is than collaboratively designed by the Chiropractor and Personal Trainer)
- Bad experience in the past (Often the most important thing is knowing what exercise NOT TO DO to prevent injury. That knowledge comes from clinical experience)
- Not sure what to do. (As clinicians, we have a unique understanding of what causes injuries and how the human body breaks down. That makes us uniquely positioned to know what it takes to prevent injuries and how to build things back up again. We do one-on-one sessions. You will be coached and supervised throughout the session)
- Feeling embarrassed about their lack of fitness or fear of being judged. (You will workout in a safe, private supportive environment one-on-one with the Personal Trainer)
We use Physitrack and Physiapp technology to facilitate your exercise programs.
You gain a complimentary access to Physiapp and hight quality video content.
